Can anyone help me with my new Gilera project?
It won’t let me add a picture, but it has a sears tag that says 808 895510 and the stamp on the frame says 124 00948 any help will be appreciated finding out what year and model this is, thanks!

Might be a 5v Touring out of the mid 70s
Although the green side panels did not look like this

Could you plase check the frame numbers?
My list says that 5V start with 030, 030 maybe 040

Milesrhodes47 you probably have got a Gilera 124. The models for the US market have frame and engine numbers starting with 124. The 808 number is an additional number added by Sears for their own administration.

michiel55 wat een leuke machine! Aan de kleur te zien is dit een Spaanse Gilera Motovespa.
Dit model werd destijds in licentie gebouwd voor de toen afgesloten Spaanse markt.

Dit VIN nummer en bloknummer komt niet voor in de Italiaanse Gilera codering.
Dat bevestigd nog eens dat het een Spaanse Gilera is, productie stond volledig los van Arcore.
"La Rana" werd eind 1973 gepresenteerd en in de eerste helft van 1974 op de markt gebracht.
Het was de eerste Gilera die lokaal in Spanje werd geproduceerd. Hier een folder uit 1975.
Het bouwjaar van jouw Gilera zal dus waarschijnlijk 1974 of 1975 zijn
