Hi Gottfried,
KK & KZ mirrors are oblong like MX1 but have only one support to fairing, MX1 has 2 supports. I have not tried KK/KZ mirrors on Saturno so do not know if they also fit.
I have also seen KK with round mirrors like Saturno, GFR and others.

Saturno mirrors
If like me, you are not happy with the rear vision from your mirrors, there is a fix. The mirrors from the MX1 fit perfectly, are oblong and give excellent rear vision (not just of your elbows). They come in at least 2 colours, red and black, but the red nowhere near matches the Saturno red, so blac...

New Saturno owner
Gidday Paul, Welcome to the world of Gileristi and particularly to the Saturno Owners. I do have a list of known faults of the Saturno (nothing too serious, but certain things need to be checked fairly often before any damage can be done) and can email you a copy if you wish, I'm on gilera@igottagil...

Ferro model and Piaggio
I see there is every chance that the Gilera Ferro 850 will now go into production BUT those of infinite wisdom within Piaggio appear to have decided to re-badge it as an Aprilia. I appreciate that the Aprilia name is probably better known within the younger generation and re-badging to Aprilia MAY g...

What engine RC600
Just to really confuse things, I see that the new SC125 (race replica) has a Yamaha water-cooled 125cc 2-stroke engine until next year when it will be replaced with a 4-stroke engine. Surely Gilera have enough of their own 125 2-stroke engines plus those of Derbi and Aprilia, so why choose Yamaha? S...

What Motor in RC600
Hi Joachim,
I believe the Eaglet has a Minarelli AM6 engine, similar to that of the Aprilia R-S50, Yamaha 50 etc.
There was of course the Gilera 600SS which should have had a Honda engine but ended with a Suzuki engine.
But most Gileras have genuine Gilera engine
