Model identification

Hello Ive recently purchased two Gilera Giubileo motorcycles I belive one is a 98cc & one is a 125cc but im not 100% sure
of the years of manufacture they came from a deceased estate so I have no documents so I am currently applying for registration
Can anybody tell me the years & confirm the models engine size from the vin no's thank-you

Hi there!
The 001 bike is an early Gilera 98 Giubileo, the year of manufacture is probably 1960.
You were almost right Joachim, only the last production years were 98SS!
I think the other one could well be a Gilera 124 Sei Giorni Speciale?
But that is rather difficult to determine without any pictures or info.
Prefix 101 means it is certainly a 124cc, the production number reveals which model it is.
The production years of the 124 Sei Giorni Speciale were 1964-1965.
