New 350 Saturno owner with questions!

Hello,
I have just bought an original condition 1992 Gilera Saturno 350 in red with 6583kms on the clock.
To introduce myself... I am 40, from New Zealand, I have owned over 80 bikes and currently have 11 Italian bikes and some cars. I do almost all my own work on my own vehicles.
Can someone please tell me how hard it is to change the cam belt and what the "special tool" looks like and how to make one?.
Does anyone have a 500 or 558 engine for sale I can fit in the Saturno??
I am thinking of modifying my Saturno... keeping it easy to use on the road. Mainly trying to make it lighter. To that end I am thinking of removing all the kick start mechanism, helmet lock, fitting aluminum and titanium fastenings, drilling and lightening what I can.
Lighter exhaust. Smaller lighter rear brake caliper.
Does anyone know if fitting wire wheels of the same rim size with billet hubs and aluminum rims will be lighter of heaver than the cast factory wheels??
Also does anyone have a sourse for the nice GILERA tank decals with the banners like the anniversay bikes have??
Regards
