Hi Marco

Thanks for the tech data.

Got the bike running, but after approx an 1 hour the motor seized again.
Whe it was runing rpm's were 2500-1400 idle.

Carb checked three times , but still after a while motor does not start anymore.
Battery fully regharged before trying, when motor runs charge voltage 14.10Volts. so no problem in there.

Brand new plug B9EG .

Anybody have had similar problems and what was the fault?.

Desperately seeking solution.

I think (at least Gottfried said this to me) that the 'black box' for the ignition is included in the coil unit (rev limiter, advance and so on)

In my engine, the Black box is separated of coil.....

My GFR also has a separated black box. I aslo thought this should be for the ignition.
But it's only for the solenoid of the power valve.
The coil has more wires thaen usual (3?) ;)
One went's down to the pick up, which also is lead to the black box.
So the information from Gottfried seems to be right ;)

Hi Joachim

You are right
There is three connection points on the coil.
One for Plug, one with two blue wires in same connector than one where black wire goes.

:( Coil replaced but still no life

Spark looks bit weak and it is not so consistent as I think it should be.

Looks like some type of electric fault ?

Is there any method to check the supply voltage to Coil? and what the voltage should be?
