Bike hates the rain!

Any ideas on why, or what i can do would be most appreciated. It seems the slightest amount of rain makes my bike misfire and eventually stop. It doesn't re-start either unless i strip it down and leave everything to dry. (maybe it likes gettin' naked!). Is it a sign of the coil, lead or ignition circuit breaking down? the coil and lead and in fact the top of the cylinder head assembly are sprayed with a water repellent but it has no effect. Ideas please?

Exchange ignition-cable, spark-plug-cap; that`s the most fail!!! Bye Gottfried

Problem sorted. When i took the bodywork and tank off, i discovered the spark plug well was full of water! There is a hole on the right hand side of the engine (the wrong side!) which i figured must be a drain for the well. I stuck a fairly thick piece of wire up there and water began to trickle out. I think i may well have blocked it up with spraying the head are with water repellent spray........

This problem is ‘typical’ to Ignition cable or defective spark plug. To sold the problem change the Spark and the cable.
