Hi Carlos,
very nice Saturno. Would you let us know the origin of the fork you built in? The Water cooler is bigger than usual, right? And the exhaust system looks very interesting. Are the tubes home made?
Would be nice to learn some details of the spanish way of Saturno tuning.
Best regards
Carsten

Hi Carlos,
sorry for asking questions already answered. As a forum veteran I should know to use the search function before asking. But - I was so exited watching the pictures.....
So fare I understood the exaust is home made and the fork is from Aprilia RS2500.
So mabye any details not mentioned already?
Regards from Cologne

Front fork and jokes from Aprilia Rs 250 with tuning springs and hidraulic settings.
Carbon fiber seat, WP rear shock, Suzuki RGV 250 radiator adapted (you need welded a tap and change the tubes),
Hidraulic magura clutch ( you need if you change the springs...)

Muchas Gracias, Carlos!
Thank you very much for all the details you let us know. Could you already find out any improvement due to the machined front caliper
? I think it look fantastic. I was told that the benefits (beside the look) are only realized on the track.
Are the pictures are all of the same bike? If so, did you change the exhaust back to standard? The reason would be interesting. Olli already told us in the german forum about his experiences regarding open exhausts.
Could you tell us something about the dimensions of the ehaust manifold? Especially the diameters.
Is the fork you are offering a spare part or is it the one we can see on the pictures?
The intake tube is a very good idea as well what size of FCR are you using? 41mm?
Sorry for asking all these details. But in these days there are not many enthusiats left presenting there efforts.
When you mentioned the hydraulic magura clutch I remember my left arm after the last trip. I thought about more muscle training... .
Thank you agan and greeting from Gemany in white (snow at the end of march!)

Halo Carsten.
May be there are not so much enthusiats left presenting there efforts...
And here are not so much people who apreciate this things, so for me it´s a plesure!!!
The bike it´s alwais the same,in diferent evolutions in time, but I do all the things thinking if one day
I can return the bike in original conditions, so never cut pieces of frame, original tank and fairings in a box at garage,
replica of footpedals... etc
About the exaust, I have one complete original in box...
The manifold I dont do by myself, I buy to Mauri:
http://www.bb-technology.ch/framesets/U ... eset-3.htm
At the beginin I rebuild the slip-on original but now I change for one of titanium because it´s more light. I buy in:
http://www.roadsitalia.com/spanish/inde ... &cat_id=46
For suzuki bandit. Only you need a straight piece of tube.
The fork and jokes that I sell is the same of the pictures. Now I change for this:
The jokes I do by myself in CNC and the forks it´s from Honda VTR SP2 rebuld for wilbers.
They have compresion, exension and rebound.

For the intake tube is because without, you can not put in because it isn´t enought place and a little more long intake tube is good at high revolutions.
I use FCR 39 because it´s enought for 558 c.c but it cango I thing with 40. I think 41 it´s only for more c.c. or great headcilinder work... Well it´s my opinion.
About caliper, It´s great. The original disk it´s cast iron, a realli good brake disk, but with this caliper goes really well.
About only needs in circuit, I am not agree. In tracks is necesary, ok, but I used for roads before and it´s better have more brakes, I can say to you!!! Especially because you can break with ony one finger, and this it´s great wen you go fast.
About brakes, for me, ít´s alwais better too much than too less...
You can put double disk brakes if you change the weel, but less weght for suspension a giroscopic moment with less weight, so I prefere une great single brake than 2 normal brakes.
Well, It´s alwais my opinion.
But now I am fitting a 320 cast iron disk and a monoblock billet caliper with titanium pistons and cooler!!!
This bike are going not only get a divorce... It get destroyed my economy!!!
Rgds
Carlos
