correct spark plug for a late 60's Gilera 124 Strada

Post by lsuglia » Wed Feb 09, 2011 10:13 pm

Hi: I'm new to the forum. Can anyone tell me what the correct Bosch or NGK spark plug is for a late 60's Gilera 124c? Also is there a parts supplier for this bike in the USA? Thanks, Larry

Hi Isuglia, and welcome to the forum! :D

Mine came fitted with a Champion Y6C.

The manual that I have mentions a Bosch W260T2.

I look on ebay Italy for most of my parts, and also I have bought a lot of stuff from the US via ebay.com

Any pictures of your bike?

Try this too www.rpw.it/Files/Gilera_124_5v_UEM.pdf

Nordie: Thanks for the information. My Gilera, (actually for my daughter) is still being assembled from two bikes, one a Sears, the other a Strada, to make one good one; I hope. No pictures yet. Don't know if the engine is sound; moves and has compression, but time will tell. Thanks, Larry
