HELP! Gilera Apache Tuning

Post by TomApache » Fri Mar 19, 2010 4:21 pm

Hi there fellow Gilerillians, i am interested in finding out what mods i can add to my Apache 125 to make it go a little faster, anything really Big bore kits (160cc), Exhausts, Cabon reeds and reed block etc. I just don't know where to find any of the parts and was wandering if anyone could point me in the right direction?

Best way is to take an old engine ( without inlet into housing MX, KZ, KK and so on) ....so I dont know; it gives Power-sets for new engine-type, ...and take a Malossi 168 cc-set, best way ist with 34-35 mm Carb ( like I dit it ) . Bye Gottfried

Do you mean a complete engine? If so what is the mileage, and what bike is it lifted from?

I just want to know why my Apache wont do 90, it's geared pretty tall but it feels like it could go faster. Maybe it's jetting? It will pull to 75mph but srtuggles past that (85mph down a hill).

This is a malossi CVF II with reed valve into cylinder? "prototype", is for the new kind of gilera engine? If so, i'm selling my soul to the *deibel* *thumb*
