Nordwest Wiring Problems Continued
Hello again,
ok next group of wires that i am unsure of where they go.
1-1 x brown male spade wire,1 x black wire,1 x red wire that has a black protective sleave around it and is the wire nearest to the yellow sticker.
2-1 x red male spade wire.
I assume that the red and brown are possibly inline fuses?
Please help if you can as i would like to get the bike finished and then i can upload some photos of the bike.
Many thanks Paul
Sorry if the pictures are to big..

for pictures see next posting (mod)

About this problem, you can solve it very easily (if you have Windows):
- open a copy of your image file with program "Paint" (usually it's present in Windows because it's a basic imaging program);
- select "Image";
- after that select "Stretch/Tilt (?)";
- choose about 40% or 50% of the original dimensions.
Et voilà!
Ciao
Marco

Re: Nordwest Wiring Problems Continued
looks like you would need a wiring scheme
Capacitive or inductive ignition?
Or just send me your frame number via PM.
On the last picture. The wire with the square end should be the main ground wire.
You should connect it to one of the rear mudguard fixing bolts seen near by.
The round end cabel should be the plus one fixed to the Battery.
But check this carefully. It should go to the fuses in the electrical box on the other side.
ciao Joachim

Thankyou Joachim and Marco for replying,
i have tried to make the pictures smaller with the help from Marco so hopefully they wiil be ok.
Joachim the frame no is -228/070433
engine no -227/033508
There is a vehicle identification no on the MOT Certificate 41R-0147201EST01 but am unsure if this helps.
The bike was first registered on 09/06/1993
Joachim,i have found a piece of paper that has Capacative Discharge written on it,wether this is for this bike i am not sure[attachment=

Nordies with frame numbers before 228-51391 should have the capacitive ignition.
So you should have an 'older' Nordie.
I'll send you an PM
ciao joachim

I think that the first picture in your message it's in "reverse mode"....
So, this is the "right mode".... right?
Ciao
