Hi Andy!
Well.....
You can take a part carburetor and transport it in a small basin with fuel or acetone... and re-clean it.....
After that use an airgun to blow off every dirty residue.
But you must be very careful! Acetone melts plastics and rubber parts.....
Again, look at:
- air conduct (from air box to carburetor), if it's well sealed....
- mixture collector (from carburetor to reed petals group), if it's well sealed too.....
- fuel tube (from fuel tank to carburetor), if it's stoppered by something...
Please tell me more!
Have a nice day and good work!
Ciao
Marco

Re: Apache carburator
thanks marco
iv sorted the problem out it was to do with old fuel, i drained the tank off and re-fueled it but i made the mistake of when i cleaned the carb out and put it back on i turned the fuel stop to reserve so the old fuel would not ignite. but now its running abit rich and the petrol is running out of the over flow pipe on the carb whilst the engine is stopped.
many thanks

Re: Apache carburator
Hi Andy.
Sorry, I've not understood: actually fuel it's running out from carburetor?
And this after you have cleaned it?
If it's so, maybe there is the fuel floating of carburetor that's is blocked.
You must to take apart carburetor, leave out under bowl and control floating and his fulcrum-plug.
Please tell me more!
