Stiff clutch on my Gilera Nordcape/Nordwest!!!

Post by lazerbeam » Sat Aug 09, 2008 10:04 am

After my cambelt was broken, i replaced it with a new belt. But, almost when i was finished. I discovered that my clutch was stiff like hell. And it is impossible to find any gear except neutral. Are there anyone out there with similar experience?? If tell me about it........is it a clutch disc problem or????

Drive safe out there

I had examined my clutchbox, and i found that three clutchdiscs was broken, but not fallen apart. Can these broken clutch disc be the source of my stiff clutch?

It`s possible, that you have 2 problems, however different each other. Remove clutch and controll all parts! Often are broken screws ( this 3 ), or springs .Change destroyed parts. Bye Gottfried
