K&N air filters

Post by Gilgilera » Thu Oct 26, 2006 11:33 pm

I would like to hear your comments about the use of these filters instead of the original ones, do they make the diference when we talk about BI-4 engine power ?

I don´t think you get more power by using k&n airfilters but since you can wash them using them it is much cheaper than replacing the original foam filter every time.

I think you wount get any troubble on road use.
Off road? hmmm... a oiled foam filter might be a better choice for that use.

Did the RC use the same filter as the Nordies?
Fiat fire engine... cant just remember which one exactly. But this one should available at your local car part supplier. Just take the old one with you.

ciao Joachim <who would later on have a look at the alternative parts list at yahoo>
