Adjust chain

I just can't figurout how to adjust chain tension on Gilera Bullit?!
Can any one plz help?!

pictures are always a good idea

You will have to loosen the two bolts which are shown in the first pic.
Next would be to turn the excentric inner part of the wheel base.
I can't see something to put on a special wrench.
Could you please take a pic from the other side of the wheel?
The GFR and the CX use a hole in the middle of the rim. There you have to put a round peace of steel through in a hole in the excentric part. Then you can put the bike forward (or backward) to tighten the chain.
Maybe it would also work if you pull the brake and push the bike.
Forward or backward depends on where your excenter is located. You will see if the chain gets loose or gets tightend.

Hmmm.... on the right side there seems to be nothing.
Left side.... the nut which helds the axis seems to have 4 notches. That may be the trick.
If you have a wrench which fits to this you max be able to turn the excentric hub.
I'm not shure if the 'brake trick' will work. But give it a try

Ther is nothing in hole on the right side.
Jupp will try the break thing and to figure something out about the left side "hub".

I loosen the bolts at the end of the swing as you told me and hit the center and it turnd counterclockwise max but still to slack so i ges i need a new chain

Do i need eny special tools to change cluch ore du a need to fix the ignich timing afterwards?

Try to get a complete chain kit with sprocket and tooth wheel.
Using the old parts will dagae your new chain rapidly.

Sorry I don't know. I didn't own a Bullit

To change the friction plates of a clutch can normally be done with 'standard' tools. Mabe it's easier to do it with special Gilera tools.
For example. On My GFR i have removed the spring bolts with a normal big screw driver. Better is to use a special tool with a notch in the middle. But if one is carefull it can also be done with a screw driver.
About the timing?
If you are lucky there are marks on the case and the rotor. So simply adjust them and the work is done.
I hope it's a electronical ignition.
If there are ignition points....
But even there are marks somewhere.

Chain,sprocket and friction plates are on order

will uppload when i start the work.
Hope its the cluch cuz it slips a bit in 4gear and wont desingage 100%..if i set it so it vill desingage completly it will slipp like hell

Resolved the chain problem by removing 2links

...works great!

Problem nr2:
Cant get the clutch to work 100% ither slipping ore not disengage and av tryed adjusting the arm and wire thing on the handelbar.
Can anyone tell me if this got enything to do with adjusting(in6)?
