...and I thought MY bike is in a bad condition.
A classic case of "dust conservation".

The "easy" way would be to jack the radiator cap up and fit a new bike underneath it !!!!
Looks like the chain needs a bit of oil too.
Good luck,
Paul

Yes it's a dog.

When you look through my photos you see a red Ducati M600 you will also see some Ducati behind a fence in a scrap yard, that is where my Ducati came from, it had been standing outside for ten years and had 1200 klms on it.
I think it could cost me £1500 to make the Nordwest shine again, I only got the bike because it was free and thought it was worth having a look to see how bad it was,but I really wanted a dirt bike.
Cheers
Ian

Well, £1500 would not be a bad price to pay for a "clean" Nordwest, and if it turns out looking as good as your M600, then it's worth giving it a go.
Wouldn't mind the coach in the Ducati scrapyard, it would make great transport for our Club (and I'm a coach driver too!)

I would like to know how the Nordie came to Saudi Arabia - I think it must be quite unique there...

It looks like my RC600 when she came to my hands, i think it would be better to disassemble it all.... and do all the cleanings and paint work as i did on mine,..., i even had to reinforce the tank covers with fiber glass,....., take a minicious look at the engine and replace everything that may look suspicious !
P.S- listen, you could send me one of those old Ducati´s from the scrapyard !
