Gilera owner from Lithuania

Post by GileraLT » Wed May 31, 2006 2:53 pm

Hi everybody,

I am owning Gilera RC600 in Lithuania. Friend of mine has the same one here also. I think we are the only ones in Lithuania with Gilera motorcycles... Nice good bikes. I have just now found this forum and i am very happy about it as i will have a lot of questions. Thank you mates who made it, thank you, thank you!!!

Now questions:
1. Both of ours RC600 engines doesn't work good on big RPM's. We can't find a problem. Candels are changed, carburators are clean... Any ideas?
2. Mine one has a start problem with a cold engine, when warm absolutely no problem. Any ideas?

Please get back soon as season runs:)

Karolis

Hello Karolis,

1. I would say the mebran of the carb is hard or demaged

2. Problems with cold engine are "normal". Youri from finland wrote me a few month ago, that he kicks his gilera 20 min in the wintertime if it starts...

but also you can change the choke
