Saturno tuning/rebuilding
Hello,
During winter time I am going to rebuild my Saturno. Here is a short list what I am planned to do for it:
-610cc kit (motor is 558cc from RC)
-carrillo rod
-nordwest cams
-cylinder head modification, bigger valves (head is Piuma head)
-new exhaust, opened ducati silencer under seat
-keihin 41mm fcr carb (there is just and just enought room for it)
-small aluminium fuel tank and only fiber cover to keep original shape
-oil cooler
+allthe ugly things that it is about road legal. Luckily we don't have a any MOT for the bikes after it has ones accepted (usually when it is new or when imported it).
Later I want to do adjustable camwheels and totally new exhaust
I have basically all the parts for the job, only time is a bit problem....
One thing I would like to fix more is a new ignition system. I think that something like KTM uses their bikes could be much better than gileras original. And because fcr carb has a throttle position sensor, more developed ignition system could give some benefit.
Any comments and tips?
Regards,
Jori

The Ignitech DC-CDI-P part from CZcarlos wrote:Joaquim:
What model?What´s about the price?
Price is 120Euro plus 12 Euro for shipping.
It is designed for the RC, but must (at least I think so) fit in the newer Nordies (the verion with included rev-limiter)
For the Saturno??? Don't know... but suppose that it might not fit.
I will have a lokk after the thing is delivered.
ciao Joachim
