Hi,
Like SeanC I responded to gileramad's invitation.
This english forum is a great idea although i have often tried to read the german version!
Maybe I am madder than he is: I have an RC600C, a 350 Nordwest, a 600 Nordwest, a 500 Saturno, a 50RS Trial in bits, and a 180 Runner.
(Oh yes and a Triumph Speed Triple!)

Buongiorno Marco

'Northcape' was the name used in Germany for the Nordwest. Nordwest was in Germany an allready registered name so Gilera had to change the modell name.

Tanti saluti.

Hi
No, the engine is OK. Don't break, so you are fast enough! :D
That's the point! Otherwise I couldn't beat me with the big bikes on the racetracks ...

Ah, maybe, right. Sorry, I haven't seen he's having a 350 as well.
Isn't it possible to change the engine 1:1?`
I can't imagine that Luigi has changed something more then just the piston or the engine.

I may be wrong but....
First Luigi built the 350ccm engine. Then the Saturno needed something more, so Luigi drilled a bigger hole.
The RC, Nordie etc engine was a new design. You can see that at the case.
So I *think* that the small engine are still the same as the ones from the small Dakota. Not a good idea to fit a 600ccm on that ones
You should have a look for a complete engine

ciao Joachim
