!956 175 (189) ignition auto advance unit

Anyone know where I can get one - even a good used one? Part number 27249 (B/7 type). The one on mine has a worn 'cam and the bob weights don't move really smoothly. I've cleaned it up and lubricated so that it works better than it did but a less worn one would be nice. That will be why the plate was on the limit of adjustment and the points gap set too small then as the mechanism was stuck. I've got it starting OK without kicking back and seeming to run OK again, but I'll need to set the timing properly before I try a ride. I'd rather do this with a known good advance unit if I can find one. Bob Wright couldn't help, though he looked through his box of classic Gilera ones for me.

I may eventually fit a Powedynamo setup but I see they are about to close down. Hopefully the new people (VAPE s.r.o in Kromeriz, Czech Republic ) will do the same system as this one:http://www.powerdynamo.biz/eng/systems/ ... 99main.htm
