John Rushworth built it and modified a head quite extensively, I am told he reduced the guide length a bit too much, which allowed valves to rock and eventually break, totaling the engine
he then bought a Nordie just for the engine (which he replaced with a CBR600
) this second engine had the ports cleaned up but the guides and valves are stock and was dyno'd mid 1990's giving just over 51bhp at the wheel.
I also have a 604 big bore kit, head modified by TTS near Silverstone and another pair of Keihin flatslide carbs that were used by 72degrees in his hill climb Nordwest, that lot will be built up in my spare engine, which is waiting in UK to be shipped out to me, too much work and not enough time.
