Alloy Rim Choice?

Post by Lone Rider » Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:00 am

I wish to replace the standard 17 x 1.14 steel rims on my 1960 Gilera 124 Extra with alloy replacements.

I am finding it tricky to get the exact size in alloy! Has anyone fitted alloys to there's, and if so,what make and size?

Thanks.

Roger.

Have you tried Hagon Wheel Service 0208 502 6222 or Wheelwise Engineering 01403 864 533
Good luck

Thanks for the reply folks!

I have bought these off ebay yesterday.....

They are 1.60, slightly wider than the 1.40 steels, but I cant see that being a problem.

Item 320599573211 :D

No, I know a man who can. :D :D

I don't attempt things I have not been shown to do. I tried to re-upholster a motorcycle seat last week. Made a bit of a mess, so decided to let someone who knows what they are doing fix it!
