Thank you everybody!!!! :D
I was looking for it since october 2005, when I discovered that the 2nd owner of my XR1 (my sweet sixteen bike!!!) sold it for € 50,00!!!!
Aaaaaaaaagh!!!! What???? 50,00 Euros???
Oh God! I want to "kill" him, because in august 2005 I said that I want bought it again!!!
Now my, really mine Gilera XR1 it’s in England….. some people tell me…..

So I started to search a Gilera XR1 white/blue in perfect conditions....
Crazy thought.....
It was too hard and difficult....
I saw a lot of bikes, some XR1 white/red in good conditions, but just two XR1 white/blue in bad bad conditions.....
And now, at the last expo of Novegro, near Linate Airport of Milan large carried out!
Mr. Sari Walter helped me to find this wonderful bike!!!! *yahoo*
And we goooooooooooooo again!!!!
Happy Easter at all!!!

Hia Marco, and well done on finding a replacement bike.

My first motorbike-styled moped (i.e 49cc) was an MZ Simson, and I have often wondered what it would be like to ride one again - so I do understand where you are coming from. I am in the process of doing up another 19 year-old, this time the KK125, and hope that you have all the fun, but not the frustrations  (most of mine have concerned 19 year old rubber not coping with modern petrol additives)

Hi deana!
Well.... Yes it's true. 19 years old rubber normally it's in disastrous conditions.... and the not painted plastics too....
However, actually I'm trying to contact the Company that bought all spare parts of "old" Gilera production (125/600 - '70, '80 and early '90).
I think to find a lot of spare parts that I need for my XR1. If you need some parts please give me a detailed directory.
I think to try to contact this Company in next few days..... :P
At soon

Hia Marco, she is looking really good - and in far better condition than my 'boy'. I'm not going to be able to get as much done as I wanted this year, but next hope to be able to do a complete strip down and rebuild, including powder coating the frame and having all the panels re-sprayed. I've already found the companies who will do the work, I just need to be able to afford it, and have time to do my bits myself. For now though, we are going out a few times a week, and he seems to be happy enough, even though there is the occasional leak or whatever

I'm not sure if you can help or not, but is it possible in Italy to get hold of a proper workshop manual for the KK? I have various bits and pieces, but none in themselves have really been up to the job  and a proper workshop manual might help take some of the guesswork out of things.

As far as part for your bike are concerned, I'm not sure which company you mean, but Gottfried on this site has buckets of stuff for the Gileras, as does Bob Wright in England who bought up all the stocks in England when Gilera suppliers when bust. Their details are:

http://www.hahne-power.de/ for Gottfried, and

http://www.bobwrightmotorcycles.co.uk/ for Bob

Both are lovely guys, and both know their stuff

Hi Deana!
About workshop manual for the KK, you can try to find something here, where I've found XR1 manual..... :

http://www.motomanuali.com/
http://www.motomanuali.com/MANUALI&CATA ... gilera.htm

If you find something, you can ask information by e-mail specifying model and year of your bike.

Here the correct address:
motomanuali@motomanuali.com

About spare parts of Gilera '70, '80 & early '90, I've phoned to this company: F.p.m. in Canonica d'Adda (BG) - a small town between Milan and Bergamo.
This company it's property of Mr. FRIGERIO (the same Frigerio of PUCH-FRIGERIO!!!!!.....).
Well now I must to fax them the directory with spare parts I need. I think they have something..... :D

Have a nice day! *victory*
