Hallo!!!!

Post by Marco » Sat Sep 11, 2004 8:28 am

I'm a new member from Italy (where are no clubs of Gilera owners.....)
I love my Gilera RC 600 1990 and in a few days I'll probabily take another RC 600 (this time a RC 600 R 1992) with only 8.000 km....
I'have even a Rc 600 1989 crasched, that I use as spare parts.
I was owner of a RC 600 14 years ago, then I sold it to buy a GSXR 1100 in 1991 then an Yamaha EXUP ....another EXUP ... ... .... and after many years finally I decided to take again My first old bike!!!!
Now in the box, near my Gilera there is a Suzuki GSXR 1000, but now this "perfect" bike doesn't interest me any more... There is only my old Gilera !!!!
I want to excuse for my terrible English... I'm not able to speak German.. so if you are so kind to talk me in this lenguage I'll appreciate!!!
Ciao!!! :D

Hello Marco,

There are also meetings two or three times in the year. Next year our swiss friends planing a international meeting in switzerland. Maybe you are able to join us.
For the most technical problems and spare parts just try www.hahne-power.de When you know a dealer like this in italy, let us now.

Hi (by the way, what's your name?)

Where in Italy do you live?
I often pass to Italy with my Nordwest, so, if it's not too far in the south, I can join you for a ride.

See you!

Allright Marco, wellcome to the club
It is a shame, that there isn't anything similar in Italia

Check also my Site: www.rc600.de - all about the RC series - I'm sorry, but only in German language...

To your question considering to the front wheelcover, it is the original one from the RC 600 C, both bikes from Orry are RC600C's, the following modell of the RC600. To get an overview on the hoistory of RC check my site and you will discover allot of differences

In Italy, Rc 600 C used the front wheelcover of the version 1989 - 1990.
But with your model is easy to put an upsidedown fork, that is not possible withe the old wheelcover, ... a pity.

Next weekend I'll go to Imola too (market of old parts). I am looking for some used parts for Rc 600 1989/90 (Front brake disc, rear left signal indicator, red seat, and palstic parts if there are in good conditions and good price,) I have some Gilera parts, if you are interested, or if you have parts I noticed over, we can find on the exit of highway "Trento centro" tomorrow at 21.00.
