Nordwest/RC600 carbs

Hi all,

Having read through the entire manuals, I have found on another page the figures of 24mm +/- 2mm, so I guess that should be the correct figure.

Nordwest/RC600 carbs

Thanks Joachim,

Sure looks like 25mm is more accurate than the manual, we'll give it a try and see what happens!!!!

Pictures of your Saturno

Hi Gil,

You will be welcome to take a test ride. You will notice the difference between 558cc and 348cc, but it is a great bike to ride.

Hope you can make it and we'll meet and you can see the difference between a Saturno and Nordwest when you go for a ride on it.

Nordwest/RC600 carbs

The manuals I have show that the float level for carb should be between 34-36mm however, the bowls are only about 37mm deep themselves.
Can anyone advise if the float levels should be this close to the bottom of the bowl or has the manual got it wrong?

Thanks,
Paul

R1 125cc

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about the R1 125cc Gilera?

I've tried to find information but can only come up with they were built in 1988-1989 and the only 3 I've found are 1 each in Italy, France and Hungary.

Any information will be welcome,
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Joachim, All the Saturnos I have seen in England (including the imports from Japan) have the longer arms. These are no longer available, but the short ones are. I understand the short ones are from the Crono and GFR models. The longer ones give good view of your arms ans shoulders and the short o...
