Hi all,
The same problem, made a manual switch...

But i'm still yearning for my temprature sensor. Because it's very uncool and i became paranoid about operating the fans for too long, causing their electric motors wear out...

Hi,
I am not an expert but it seems it's up to me to answer, since nobody else does :)

Lubrification
-AGIP SAE 15W/40
-alternative: AGIP NUOVO SINT 2000

This is what it writes in my little manual with a strange language :)
So i mostly try to use 15W40...

On the top of the motor are two square plates, underneath are the cams and the rocker arms. The two square plates you have to remove to view the cams/rocker arms arre usually known as 'rocker covers'....... or sometimes 'cam covers' Ok, as i guessed :) That's a nice method if i can find out ...

That's another mystery i am curious about. Maybe until the last year they were producing it with kickstarter, or just to be suitable for adding one... But as far as i know it's impossible to find a kickstarter set... In my case, the lever was once used to connect a decompressor on the handlebar to e...

Hi Joachim, i think you're right again, i didn't think about Luigi :)
But i found what to do; i will examine the A pulley and timing on an other RC of a friend of mine in a nearby city.
My timing might be different than normal, should be carefull...

Hi,
I looked at the cam shafts trough the valve covers today... They are correct with A and S on them, so only the A gear has been replaced.
So there shouldn't be a problem unless the A and S gears are indentical and their signs are in the same positions ? ?

If you are unsure if the motor is on the right stroke, just whip the rocker covers off so you can see the rocker arms. While they're off, you might as well check the clearances  By the way, what's that bit of twisted copper wire below the exhaust pulley for? Sorry i couldn't understand exactl...

No, this is after a couple of unsuccessful start attemps with a dead battery :) thanks for your warning İ think i did it as you told, with both Gilera marks side by side facing to each other when piston on top position (didn't look at the flywheel and crank, but put a stick through the spark plug ho...

Bi-4 engine timing ?

Here is a question for experts;
How do we set the correct engine timing?
I am very confused about the signs on the cam gears at piston's top dead point...

Thank you very much for your quick reply, it'll be very useful. İ'll have to take the shock to the mechanic again... İ think he changed the rubbers, don't know where he did wrong... By the way i tried to examine the link you gave, but it's not suitable for me at the moment. Too much time and money (...

help on rear suspension

Hi to all Gilera fans, After a grand maintenance period, i am reassembling the bike. Today, after putting the engine on i noticed that the suspension i had repaired is still broken. No oil leak but still too soft, bike bouncing like a ball:(... (felt hard though when it was out) http://img299.images...
