Re: 1957 175 Sport (189) rear sprocket wanted
I must check back here more often ;) Thanks for the offer, but In the end, I got an alloy one made up, so I have the correct dimensions if anyone needs one. I might get another made with one more tooth. Since I got the correct profile rear tyre on, it is even more high geared. For Vintage Motor Cycl...

1957 175 Sport (189) rear sprocket wanted
Anyone know if pattern sprockets are being made for the 189 model 175 Sport of the mid 50's? I could get an alloy one made, but I worry about the original getting lost in the post.

!956 175 (189) ignition auto advance unit
Anyone know where I can get one - even a good used one? Part number 27249 (B/7 type). The one on mine has a worn 'cam and the bob weights don't move really smoothly. Giubileo 98 to 124 conversion
Is it possible to upgrade a 98 engine (1970 seigorni (just the road version unfortunately) apparently) to 124cc ? I know the early series had a lot in common and it looks as if you should be be able to swap in a 124 cylinder, piston and head (ignoring balance factor). I know about the 13.5 and 15 pi...

Re: Saturno Oil - Synthetic v Semi-synthetic?
A motorcycle specific semi-synthetic (JASO MA or MB) should be fine in a Nuovo Saturno. It was in mine with a 558 Nordwest motor.

Re: gilera gfr 125 1993 k reg
The only workshop manual I'm aware of for the GFR is in Italian. Google hard enough and you may find that which you seek. As Joachim said, it sounds like a blown head gasket is causing low compression and overheating. The GFR cooling system is prone to air locks if not refilled correctly, which in t...

Re: The GeN reloaded
Hi everyone. Yes, as Kano Nordi says the 'GeN' is purely a web site. The Igottagilera forum is still running. There are areas of the site that can only be accessed by registered users.
