Re: Saturno TT fork seals in Poland.

Hi Joachim, of course I can get 40 52 10 from my local supplier. It is not an uncommon size but I was hoping to find the CORTECO versions for that 10.5 second seal lip. Because the seal fits into the cap of the Cerianis I think the lip creates a 'second seal' as the tube slides past the opening of t...

Saturno TT fork seals in Poland.

Hi Everyone. I am working on a Gilera Saturno TT with the lovely Ceriani endurance type forks but it seems impossible to find the fork seals here in Australia. I have found the fork seals ( https://simmering.pl/en/corteco/31565-rotary-shaft-seal-corteco-12011811-nbr-ddbaslx7-oil-seal-12011811.html )...

Re: 40mm Dellorto Float height

the tip is viton and whilst changing things is always better, the condition looks good.

I will stick to the Gilera manual although "Turn over the carburettor and let float rest on the needle's damper"
annoys me as there is more than one way to turn a carburettor :)

40mm Dellorto Float height

I have overhauled the carby from a Gilera 500 and found the float had let a lot of fuel thru overflow and into the cylinder. luckily i could hear it and removed sparkplug for safety. BUT! The Gilera Saturno manual says the float height should be 24+/-2mm My Dellorto manual says PHM carbys are to be ...

TOP SPEED

The max speed of the Saturno be it 350 or 500 is 160km/ph I believe.

This seems to be an rpm limiter fitted to then electrical system.

Has anyone developed a 'black box' to de-restrict this or is there another solution?

thanks,

Sean
