Ok - so I now have managed to dismantle the forks, after realising there is no bottom damper restraints and the ‘screw’ heads I saw in the bottom of the forks seem just to locate the damper tube. So I have new seals coming and will shortly need to refill with fork oil. The next question is what weig...

TG1-125 Fork Dismantling

I am new to my 1979 Gilera TG1 and need to replace fork seals and possibky bushes. I have partially stripped down the forks, but needto remove damper rod before pulling out the seals. As there is no external bolt on bottom of fork, I assume a screw requires removing from down inside the tube? I look...
