Re: 202 parts wanted

It's worth keeping an eye on Ebay italy, stuff does come up, but be careful, I bought a Gilera front mudguard badge, 25 Euros, the guy said he would send it to Scotland, and would tell me how much, after I bought it, well, I didn't think 95 Euros to send it was very, erm, forthright!, lesson learned...

Re: Float level

Hi HP,
I re set the float height to 18mm, it seems to start better, but as I said, I'll have to wait until I ride it. The accelerator pump is working.
I use super unleaded in my older bikes, it doesn't cost any extra, I get a better fuel consumption when using it!.
Thanks,
Alan.

Re: Float level

Hi folks, When I got the bike (a 350), it had been flooding long enough to take the paint off the engine. Stripping the carb revealed the float had been bent up so much it was touching the carb body and the needle valve wasn't even seating!, so the float chamber was filling all the time. I set the l...

Saturno headlamp and air filter

Herllo Folks, For your information, I've discovered the headlamp unit from a 2006 Yamaha YBR 125 is the same as the Saturno, with the exception of the rim, which is a slightly different profile, I've fitted one to my bike and the profile difference is hardly noticeable. I also fitted a K&N Pod air f...

Float level

Hi Folks, Can anyone clear up the confusion about float level please?. The manual says 24mm, Dellorto say 18mm. Mine was flooding when I got it, float level was way out, so I set it to 24mm, no more flooding. It idles fine now, won't know what it rides like until I have it registered here. But, ther...

Saturno Thermostat

Hello Folks,
There was no thermostat in my Saturno engine when i removed the cover.
Is the thermostat on the Saturno particular to this model only?, or is there a thermostat from another bike that fits?.
Thanks,
Alan.

Saturno spring rate

Hello Folks, Does anyone know what the spring rate is for the monoshock unit on a 350 Saturno Bialbero?, and perhaps the stroke? Any recommendations for a replacement/upgrade shock?. I measured the length of the shock from hole to hole while it is still on the bike and came up with a distance of 280...

Saturno tuning links

Hello folks, I've been a member of the British Gilera forum for some time, under another user ID (couldn't get it to work on this forum). I'm the lucky new owner of a black 350cc Japanese import Saturno, which needs some TLC but is basically sound. Thanks to the information and tips I've already had...
